Using Tags

Tags are simple keywords you can assign to your content to make it more searchable in the search box and easy to find throughout the ThingWorx Community.

    To Assign Tags to Content:

    1. Open or create content (a document, discussion, or poll for example), and scroll to the bottom of the page to the Tags Box.

    2. Choose keywords or tags that fit your content and enter them here. For example, if you were working on a Training Resources document use the tags "resources", "training", and "training_resources". (Use an underscore "_" in between words within a phrase).

*Do not use any other symbols besides underscores and spaces (to separate single words). The tag box is not case sensitive.

    3. When you first click into an empty Tags box the Popular tags and Your tags will appear:

    4. You can also consider using any of the tags that automatically appear in the suggestion box as you begin typing.

To Assign Tags in Status Updates:

Inputting tags in status updates differs only slightly. When typing within a status update, type "#" before the tag and begin typing. Click your desired tag.
