Blog Widget - effectivity datetime and message severity

Is there way to specify and filter messages by effectivity datetime range.  Also, is there a way to change the message text style by severity so as to distinguish an urgent message from an information only message ?

Hi Vish, you can use the Services associated with the BlogThing to filter the messages. Blog posts do not have State Based formatting, however a user can change the formatting of the content a little. A blog can take formatted entries, for example a copy and paste from a Word document. However a danger exists that the entry becomes 'malformed' HTML and the display wont render properly.

One other way to do this would be to use the Services to create an Infotable of your entries sorted by Severity and then link the selected row to your Blog Widget's Entry ID.

Thank you Pai.  Are you suggesting that I display a grid with rows state formatted for severity and then the selected row in the grid will be tied to the Blog's Entry ID ?
