Backup entities and data through Postgres backups

Hi,

I have installed Postgres and followed the instructions on the support website.  I was wondering if Thingworx stores the entities (eg. Thing, Thing templates, scripts, etc) in Postgres as well?

The reason being is because our Postgres instance is being backed up by our operations team daily so I was wondering if that is sufficient enough?  Or do I still have to export the entities either through the scheduler or manually and back it up myself?

Thanks in advance.

PostgreSQL keeps track of the entities and data if that is the selected version. If you deleted your ThingworxStorage folder right now, the entities would still be secure. The PostgreSQL db does not persist file repositories, backups, extensions, logs, certificates, or exports.
