Video clipping capability has been enhanced to allow users to record new audio for a portion of a newly created video clip. Users will now be able to select a specific start and stop point for the new audio recording and will be able to retain the original audio stream from before and/or after the new recording
Step Check™ Enhancements
Step Check training images displayed in Editor are now delivered via *.cloudfront.net
Step check validation areas are now moved while the associated point of interest is being relocated. Prior to this change, the validation area would only be relocated after the point of interest was dragged and dropped.
Error messaging has been added to the STEP CHECK tab to communicate when errors occur during training a Step Check-enabled step.
Advanced Model Target Reuse Enhancements
Advanced Model Target reuse behavior has been updated to ensure that a new Advanced Model Target is not generated when a procedure with no changes to viewing positions is republished. Prior to this enhancement, republishing a procedure triggered a new Advanced Model Target to be generated whenever the author duplicated a 3D step or reordered the 3D steps.
Note: The tracking performance in Vuforia Vantage should remain unchanged.
HoloLens 2
The minimum supported HoloLens 2 OS version is now 20348.1432.
URLs included in step descriptions are now clickable.
Note that Vuforia Vantage does not perform any special handling of links; it is up to the OS/browser to react appropriately to open the correct page or application. Previously, URLs were displayed as plain text.
Note: While links from one procedure to another procedure will be displayed and are clickable, they currently behave inconsistently, and the HoloLens may not handle the links properly.
iOS
If a procedure step is configured to use Step Check and the Automatic Image Feedback option is enabled, Vantage will automatically capture an image whenever a user opens a procedure step. The feedback icon on the step card will be updated to read PHOTO PROVIDED to indicate that a feedback image has been automatically captured. Previously, a user had to click the feedback icon before a feedback image would be automatically captured.
Note: Users will still be able to open the feedback option to review the image that was automatically recorded and take a new image if needed.
The Step Check training dome now scales down further for smaller validation areas; the initial minimum size of around 10 centimeters has been reduced to around 3 centimeters.
Android
