Can I Create My Own Widgets In ThingWorx Composer?

What kind of method can I use if I can?

Within Thingworx you can only use the existing Widgets, not create completely new ones. You can create 'Mashup Templates' that you can use over and over again similar to Widgets.

Widgets usually are created in a Java developer tool like Eclipse.

Also in the Java Doc there is a lot of information in regards to Widget development. (requires an account to support.ptc.com)
