Hi,

We want to explore Thingworx Analytics. Do we need to have background of Data Science( Statistics using R etc) to learn and use Thingworx analytic?

Thanks

Ravindra Singh,

It would be good to have basic knowledge of Analytics however there is no necessity of having Data Science  experience with R Programming. I would highly recommend you to set up a local instance by yourself and try out the various feature available in ThingWorx Analytics latest release 8.0.

Below are some useful links which will help you get started:

Do let me know in case you have any specific issue or query.

These videos do no answer how to use R code in Thingworx.

Hi @kylejones

You can create a predictive model in R and covert that output in .pmml file. Then you can import that pmml into ThingWorx analytics which is the only way to communicate with TWA with programming in some other languages.

Do let me know in case of any question.
